The Pasco County Systems of the FGUA serve residential and commercial customers in Aloha Gardens, Seven Springs, Lindrick, Colonial Manor, Dixie Grove Estates, Virginia City, Holiday Westwood/Anclote, and Pasco Utilities. Aloha Gardens is located in Holiday. Holiday is mostly residential and is bordered on the South by the City of Tarpon Springs/Pinellas County Line, the Gulf of Mexico on the West, SR 54 on the North, and the Anclote River to the East. Seven Springs is located in the Trinity area.
The Lindrick utility system is located in the city of New Port Richey, including the Gulf Harbors and Gulf Landing communities, west of US Highway 19, from Floramar Terrace North to Main Street. The Lindrick system also includes the Shamrock Heights Community, located North of Trouble Creek Road north to Kilraney Court and from Maryana Drive east to Grand Central Avenue.
Colonial Manor water system is located in Pasco County approximately 1 mile southwest of the City of Elfers and ½ mile east of the intersection of US Highway 19, in the subdivision off of Moog Road. Dixie Grove Estates water system is located in western Pasco County three miles south of New Port Richey and one mile east of the intersection US Highway 19 and County Road 595. Virginia City water system is located approximately 1.5 miles south of New Port Richey and 2.5 miles east of US Highway 19 on the north side of State Road 54. Holiday Westwood water system is located in southwestern Pasco County north of Tarpon Springs and one-half mile west of US Highway 19. Holiday Anclote water system is located approximately three miles north of Tarpon Springs, approximately ½ mile south of the Pinellas/Pasco County line and west of US Highway 19. Pasco water system is located approximately 23 miles east of New Port Richey on SR 54, ½ mile west of I-75 in the Angus Valley Subdivision approximately 2 miles west of Wesley Chapel on Dayflower Boulevard west of Old Pasco Road and ½ mile north of State Road 54.
The Floridan Aquifer provides most of the water for the FGUA Pasco County Systems. The water is drawn to ground level, purified and treated, then sent to customers' homes. The water in Seven Springs is also treated with a corrosion inhibitor to protect your internal plumbing. The Pasco County Systems have 3 water plants and 1 wastewater plant in Aloha Gardens and 8 water plants and 1 wastewater plant in Seven Springs. Both systems have a total of 67 lift stations combined. The Lindrick System has 6 supply wells and wastewater is sent to the City of New Port Richey for treatment. Colonial Manor has 5 supply wells including one standby well and two interconnections with the Pasco County Water System (PCWS). Dixie Groves has 2 supply wells. Virginia City has 1 supply well and additional capacity is purchased from PCWS as needed. Holiday Westwood has 1 supply well. Holiday Anclote receives its water supply from the City of Tarpon Springs. Pasco has 2 water supply wells.
As of July 2010, the Pasco County Systems serving Aloha Gardens and Seven Springs serves 16.430 water customers and 14,713 wastewater customers. Lindrick serves 3,004 customers. Colonial Manor serves 713 water customers. Dixie Groves serves 352 water customers. Holiday Westwood serves 119 water customers and Holiday Anclote serves 230 water customers. Virginia City serves 315 water customers. Pasco serves 724 water customers.
To keep the Aloha Gardens and Seven Springs systems current, the FGUA Capital Improvement Plan includes a 2-year project to interconnect with the (PCWS), and involves the evaluation of problematic wells, as well as additional treatment improvements. The Lindrick system includes a five year capital improvement plan evaluating the condition of meter equipment, improving water pressure, service and reliability, reducing saltwater intrusion and rehabilitating well sites. The Consolidated Systems (Colonial Manor, Dixie Grove Estates, Virginia City, Holiday, and Pasco) have no capital improvements identified for the first five years, due to recent upgrades performed by the previous owner.
